Motorized Pallet Truck
The Walkie-Rider, Walkie or Rider is a Motorized Pallet Truck which is basically a motorized version of a pallet jack. They come in both "Walkie" models and "Rider" versions.

Like what the name implies, the walkie model is designed for the operator to walk along with the unit while they transport loads. The Rider model however, utilizes a small platform wherein the operator stands on. The rider models are ideal for frequent transporting of loads over extended distances within warehouses and manufacturing applications. They are really maneuverable and fast.

It is essential to remember that there is no safety cage on this model and thus, it is not recommended to transport unstable or tall loads utilizing these machines. A rider can be the best answer if you are searching for a cheap way of moving cargo from one place to another. If though, you should move heavy loads short distances, and prefer to utilize a more employee-friendly unit instead of a pallet jack, the walkie model can be the right choice.

Order Selector
An Order Selector also goes by the name of Order picker. This equipment is specially made for manual handling of less-than-pallet-load quantities in racking. There are fixed forks attached to a platform in the Man-up design. This platform elevates both the operator and the load with a purpose to facilitate manual loading and unloading from racking areas.

Order Selectors are usually very narrow aisle vehicles that could work in aisles of less than six feet. They are extremely useful pieces of equipment in cycle counting situations as well as during physical inventories. Order selectors are available in lift heights up to 40 feet high, though models which range in the 20 to 30 foot range are much more popular.
